SE NARP performs the following works:
- Major overhaul of the following APUs: ТА-6А (А1, 6B), installed on IL-62, IL-78, IL-76 and its modifications, ТU-134, ТU-154, IL-20, IL-22, АN-22 aircraft. During APU overhaul the following procedures are carried out: disassembly of the unit and its components to determine their actual technical condition, their modification and repair, replacement of rejected parts and assembly units. Modification of parts and assembly units which are to be modified because of the structural changes under repair manuals and repair bulletins, developed to enhance APU reliability and serviceability.
- Major overhaul of turbo-generator unit ТG-16М, installed on АN-24 and АN-32 aircraft.
- Major overhaul of APU AI-8, installed on BE-12,АN-8, АN-10 aircraft and МI-8, МI-26 helicopters.
- Special procedures for APU RU-19А-300 calendar and service life extension.
At present SE NARP is mastering major overhaul of ТА-6V, ТА-8B APUs, installed on YAK-42 aircraft.
APU testing is carried out on NARP test rigs, approved as compliant with Ukrainian standards in force.
